Queen of Hearts

A new concept drawing for the Queen of Hearts for my Epiphany! webcomic that I've been working on (sorta kinda).

I did one of her as a human before, a while back, but it was never a drawing I really liked and I've decided that that form doesn't really fit the comic anyway. I've decided that she's an ermine. Yes, a weasel underneath a pretty looking white coat. It works much better. Aside from the fact that the ermine was traditionally a representational symbol of royalty / nobility in artwork, what would you expect from a monarch anyway? They don't stay where they are by not being conniving and devious.

Also humans are just less fun to draw, to be honest.
